Synopsis
Ella is a young sociable student, who comes across a mysterious book that has been enchanted by a curse which leaves her possessed by an unrested spirit needing a sacrificial human being to take over.
Purpose
The purpose of our movie is to entertain audiences by scaring them. We will use typical genre conventions of a supernatural horror film such as ghosts/spirits, death/killing, isolated areas , screams,red herrings (false alarms), victims, darkness and chase montage. This will appeal to people who have seen other supernatural horror films such as the grudge and Drag me to hell because they also use the same genre conventions we will use.
Target Audience
Our target audience will be the main cinema demographic of male and females aged 15 to 24 years old. We choose this target audience so the film will appeal to more people and fulfill our purpose to entertain more people.
