Film Reviews

This film Review of 'Source Code' in Sight & Sound shows the image of the actor Jake Gyllenhal at the bottom corner. The caption of the image is there to give extra information to the readers. Sight & SOundhas a more of a niche market and it is more for intellectual film lovers and experts. Unlike Total Film and Empire magazine the image is smaller and there is much more writing. Sight & Sound is the only one of the articles with a clear synopsis of the whole film. At the end of the review the credits and cast are shown with the timing and what is distributed by. The review is divided by lines to sort out each coloumn.

Total Films review of 'Leatherheads' also shows small images of other films for comparison which are simiilar. The main image which is at the top also has a caption of both the actors showing the names for the readers. The star rating is at the top of the review next to the sub header. The begining of the first paragraph is shown in bold to start of the review to attract the audience. Total Film even has a a bar graph of the predicted interest curve for the audience. The text wrapped insert shows a quote from the review in bold which Sight & Sound didn't have. Similar to Sight and Sound it is also divided by lines. The ending paragraph is highlighted in bold with the credits positioned at the end.

Empire magazine has their image really big like Total Film for the movie 'The Kite Runner'. The caption is situated at the top corner with information of what is going on. On the top left corner there is also a annotation of the image with extra information for the readers. The subheader is placed at the bottom of the title. Empire doesn't have dividers for column but in the begining and end where the verdict from the writer is shown and the release date and plot in the begining is shown. The text wrap insert which is a quote from the main body is in bold and in large writing for the audience to see. The star rating is also placed at the end.
